There's lots on this site about what I do, but nothing at all about who I am. So here's a Brief History of Me: born in the British Military Hospital in what was then called West Berlin on August 30, 1972; brought up in the very lovely city of Kilkenny, in Ireland; attended Kilkenny College (Jonathan Swift’s old school) from 1984 to 1990, and the National College of Art and Design in Dublin from 1990 to ’94. I lived in Connecticut for a year, and Toronto for most of the time since then, though I spent a couple of years in Ireland getting my master’s degree in film at Dublin Institute of Technology.
