I'm a freelance writer, animator, filmmaker and photographer based in Toronto. I was born in West Berlin during the middle of the Cold War (I miss it) and brought up in the very lovely city of Kilkenny in Ireland. At the National College of Art and Design in Dublin I studied graphic design, and later earned a master’s in film from Dublin Institute of Technology.

I do words and pictures.

Words: Acres of ad copy, a few op-eds for Toronto’s Eye Magazine, a hopefully-soon-to-be-produced feature screenplay, and one bigger thing... about which, more later.

And pictures: both still and moving. I’ve designed everything from signage to software packaging to websites by the dozen, and picked up a few design awards.

Moving pictures are more fun, though: I've made lots of animated segments for documentaries and edited a few. I'm currently planning to write and direct an all-animated documentary, codenamed The Sheldrake Project. Here’s a clue.

Don’t hesitate to drop me a line. I'm also on Facebook.
